Academy of Technology offers admission to various courses such as B.Tech and MCA. Admission to B.Tech course will be done on the basis of the marks scored in JEE Main followed by a counselling process while for MCA candidates have to qualify JECA. The detailed admission processes are given below:

Placements: At present, AOT is growing very fast every year in terms of placements, especially in CSE, IT and ECE branches. The placement rate for the core branch is also more than 75%. AOT comes 5th among other engineering colleges in West Bengal. Every year, its placement rate is breaking its own record.

Faculty: I can rate the faculty 4 out of 5. Most of the teachers behave very well, and some do not. No matter how they behave because the only thing that matters is our education. Their teaching quality is good.

Infrastructure: I belong to the computer science and engineering branch. We have Google innovation centre, and it has many labs for different purposes. We have 2 hours of lab sessions for programming. There is a library on the campus from which you can borrow the books when needed. Our hostel is on the campus itself, and it has 3-4 Wi-Fi routers on each floor.
